"Our
company has had no major electrical outages in the eight years that
Pro-line has been doing our switchgear
inspection.
In addition, we have been able to reduce our annual shutdown time
from two weeks to two days."

The
infrared inspection is an important form of non-destructive
testing that has become an indispensable predictive maintenance
tool, and is performed with a portable infrared imaging system.
This equipment detects infrared energy (heat) emitted from
an object and displays it as a dynamic thermal image, producing
a variety of colors. Each color represents a discrete increment
of temperature as noted by the temperature scale.
Pro-Line
uses a nationally recognized standard in evaluating the severity
of component problems found during the inspection.
The IEEE/ANSI Standard
aid in the evaluation of component temperatures. It specifies
the maximum temperature for all components based on their
percent of rated load at the time of the inspections.
